The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and its departments have switched into enhanced mode of operation due to the dramatic change in weather conditions in the territory of Azerbaijan on February 17-19.
The structures subordinated to the Ministry have been instructed to take all the necessary measures in order to ensure the continuity of services. This includes the mobilisation of staff on duty in transport, telecommunication services, television and radio broadcasting as well as the prompt elimination of damage to cables and lines, and the implementation of appropriate steps to organise shift work in post offices.
