The smartest voice assistant for gadgets named
Bespoken conducted an independent study comparing the functionality of voice assistants Apple, Google, and Amazon. The forces of the rivals were unequal - the winner bypassed the decisions of other brands by a significant margin.
For the tests, the experts used a test robot that mimics human speech to assess the behavior of assistants. Requests were divided into complex and simple ones. Many of them were formulated in such a way as to confuse digital assistants because they did not have the correct answer. For example, one of them sounded like, "Name the first person to land on Mars."
As a result of the test, first place was taken by Google Assistant, which correctly answered 76.57% of simple and 70.18% of complex questions more accurately than competitors. Amazon Alexa's results were more modest: 56.28% and 55.05% respectively. Apple's Siri voice assistant managed the worst with the test job- 47.29% and 41.32%.
"Google Assistant outperformed Alexa and Siri in all trials. At the same time, all three applications can be greatly improved by developers and require more rigorous testing and optimization," said Bespoken spokesman Emerson Sklar.
Summing up, experts also noted an interesting fact: it turned out that Google Assistant is much better at answering questions about Siri than Apple's algorithm about its main competitor.
