98.88 million manat envisaged in the state budget on the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry
According to information of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, the volume of capital investment on the state office, envisaged in the state budget for 2012 amounted to 98.88 million manat.
The ministry said that the costs on building and launching Azerspace first telecommunication satellite into orbit, considered in the state budget for 2012, will amount to 22.5 million manat.
About 11.6 million manat was envisaged to construct the ground satellite stations and to lay the communication lines. The insurance costs on construction will amount to 17 million manat.
About 0.14 million manat is planned to be spent to purchase the laboratory equipment for the nano-technology research. About 2.96 million manat will be allocated to convert the state agencies' computers for licensed Microsoft software solutions. About 6.9 million manat was envisaged to organize universal postal services and construct new post offices in Azerbaijan.
About 10 million manat will be allocated to construct DATA-center of electronic government project. About 1.5 million manat is planned to be allocated to complete the construction of electronic signature infrastructure and to expand the services.
It is planned to allocate 10 million manat to create the centralized monitoring system.
About 14.6 million manat was envisaged to reconstruct the automatic telephone exchange (Baku and regions) on the basis of the new technologies, the expansion of wireless CDMA, construction of communication lines, etc.
