Azerbaijan joins Intel International Science and Engineering Fair
Azerbaijan joined Intel International Science and Engineering Fair as part of the State Program on Informatization of Education System in 2008-2012. About 3,000 schoolchildren from over 50 countries participate in the final round of the competition annually, the Information Center said. “Azerbaijan plans to hold a competition among schoolchildren as part of the State Program on Informatization of Education System in 2008-2012 to prepare for the contest to be held in 2012. The delegation of Azerbaijan attended the world forum held in Los Angeles this May to get familiar with the contest.”
Founded by American public in 1950, ISEF is an international event organized for the youth aged 13-18. The Intel ISEF has a prize fund of over $4mn. It is distributed in the form of prize and scholarship.
