Post Office of UK seeks partner for £150m IT overhaul
The Post Office is seeking a new IT services provider to help transform the organisation, in a deal worth up to £150m.
In a public tender, the organisation said it is searching for an IT services provider to design, deliver and support a new IT framework for a two-year period. The Post Office reserves the right to extend the contract twice for a period of 12 months each.
The notice said: "The Post Office wishes to establish a framework panel of suppliers that supply a range of IT solution delivery services to fulfil requirements across the business.
"The services procured under the framework will support the delivery of the Post Office’s transformation agenda by providing programme and project delivery services that will encompass the full project and programme lifecycle, ranging from feasibility studies through to design and build, implementation, service integration and ongoing service management and/or service transition."
The tender document states that potential suppliers require a minimum turnover of £20m per annum.
Interested parties have until 27 February to apply using the instructions provided in the tender.
