Baku Telephone Communication PU increases number of CDMA base stations
At present, Baku Telephone Communication Production Unit (BTCPU) is implementing measures towards increasing the number of base stations of non-sim CDMA service, told İCTnews head of CDMA Service Department of BTCPU, Murad Chabrailov.
According to him, during the second half of 2011, BTCPU built two CDMA base stations: one - in Mardakani settlement, the second one – in micro-district No 9.
One more base station is planned to be built soon in Yasamal district of Baku city. Let’s note that BTCPU renders non-sim CDMA services with "511" and "555" indexes. Today, 8,600 subscribers use this service.
