Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies conducts radiomonitoring activities in connection with transition to digital TV broadcasting
The State Radio Frequency Service of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan has started to conduct monitoring activities in various regions of the country in connection with the transition to the digital TV broadcasting.
This information was provided to ‘İCTnews’ by the chief engineer of the service, Ilham Efendiyev. According to him, a few days ago the radiomonitoring activities, conducted in Ganja, Lerik and Lenkaran regions, were suspended due to adverse weather conditions.
Within the next few days the employees of the service will begin to conduct radiomonitoring activities in Shamakhi, Gobustan, Agsu, Dashkesan regions. ‘Radiomonitoring is conducted in a specific place for determining the coverage area of the digital TV broadcasting.
Results of monitoring activities are analyzed before making a final decision’, Mr. Efendiyev told. Let’s note that digital television signals are detected and transmitted to the maps with use of ‘Promex HD’ analyzer.
