State student-graduate electronic information system presented in Azerbaijan


The State Students Admission Commission of Azerbaijan has presented the state electronic information system "student-graduate". According to information provided to ‘ICTnews’ by chairperson of the State Students Admission Commission, Maleka Abbaszade,   the system will enhance the efficiency of the educational system, the definition of policies in education, early identification of problems in education and actions to address them, exchange of information between governmental agencies and the educational system.

The system will also accelerate the exchange of information between governmental agencies and the State Students Admission Commission. The State Students Admission Commission receives requests from the State Service of Mobilization & Conscription, municipal and district departments of education on the occasion of participation of citizens in the entrance exams, as well as their availability in the list of students, the answers for which require time-spending.

The new system includes academic performance and other information about students, which will simplify the process of obtaining information about students and university graduates, as well as profiles of  students or graduates.

The system provides the input, receipt, modification, protection, and search of information in database of students and graduates and the implementation of other operations. The database of "university graduate" system will also be available on the Commission’s servers and the connection to the corporate network can be done through the Internet infrastructure.

The State Students Admission Commission was appointed the system administrator and information support of the system will be carried out by the Commission, universities and colleges of the country. The central bodies of executive power will receive more opportunities for obtaining information from the university graduate system.
