About 692 unregistered radio-electronic units found in Azerbaijan
The Azerbaijani State Administration for Radio Frequencies’ Ether Control Department has found 692 unregistered radio electronic units in January-June 2011, the administration said. The administration operates under the Communications and IT Ministry.
The administration carried out an inspection of 377businesses and organizations. Of the total number of unregistered radio electronic units, 214 units have been sealed, 302 units were registered, three were cut off and the remaining 173 are in the registration process. About 55 protocols were filed against the users of unregistered radio-electronic units.
