Kavkaz University to hold activity on results of ‘Android Era 2’ competition
The ‘Android Era 2’ competition, which is being held within the framework of the ‘Hackathon Azerbaijan’ IT-related project is coming to an end. An activity dedicated to the outcomes of this competition will be held at Kavkaz University on May 6, 2012 at 11:30 o’clock.
This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by employees of the ‘Hackathon Azerbaijan’ project. According to this information, 124 applications were made for participating in the competition, which started on May 15, 2012.
Of them 86 were chosen to take part in the activity. The competition participants wrote 15 mobile applications. Participants of the activity that will be held at Kavkaz University will be provided with detailed information about these mobile applications and the results of the competition.
During the activity the ‘Samsung’ company will personally award winners of the open ‘EuroCup’ competitions, who wrote the best ‘Android’ applications. 6 best applications will be presented at the activity.
Winners of the competition who wrote best programs for the ‘Android’ platform will be announced at this activity, which will be attended by representatives of well known ICT companies. Let’s note that the ‘Android Erası 2’ competition is sponsored by the ‘Samsung’ company. The ‘Baku Google Technology User Group’ and ‘Fist Steps’ projects provide organizational support for the competition. The winners who took the first place will be awarded with ‘Samsung Galaxy Note’.
The winners who took the 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded with ‘Samsung Galaxy Nexus’, and ‘Samsung Galaxy S II’ respectively. Additionally, the ‘Samsung’ company will award the competition winners with ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1’.
