‘A-Media’ company increases number of advertising monitors in Baku Underground Railway

The ‘A-Media’ company, which provides advertising services, is currently increasing the number of advertising monitors in Baku Underground Railway.Over 70 advertizing monitors were installed in underground railway stations so far.

This number is soon expected to be raised to 100.   This time advertizing monitors will not be installed in stations, but on payment machines, in foyers and other areas of the underground railway.

This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by Teymur Hachiyev, the press secretary of ‘Aila TV’.  According to him, the increase in the number of monitors provides wider opportunities to business structures for advertizing.

‘Today, companies opt for establishing direct connection with the consumer, to whom they want to sell their products and services.   The new monitors will make the existing direct connection between a producer and a consumer even more effective.

While waiting for the train, a passenger, who, at the same time, is a potential buyer will watch advertisements made by companies to promote their products and this will lead to increase in sales.  In this way producers will increase their profits.   50% of Baku residents prefer the underground railway to other means of transport, and 30% of them take the metro twice a day.   According to the official statistics, around 2.4 million people live in Baku.

And this means that  about 1 million people will watch advertisements on the monitors.  Results of the poll conducted among passengers show that 70% of them like commercials and believe that they are more efficient than posters and broadsheets.
