Intellectual Traffic Management System reduces traffic density in Baku

‘As a result of introduction of the Intellectual Traffic Management System in Baku, the traffic density has been reduced. Now, buses come to their bus-stops more quickly’, said the Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov. ‘Drivers must pay attention to electronic boards and use them correctly’. If the driver doesn’t use the e-board, the system is not to blame. Drivers themselves are guilty in this case.

The system shows the level of density of traffic at any area. Drivers have been repeatedly informed that they must learn to use electronic boards. There are bus-stops in Baku, which have electronic boards showing the table of exact movement of buses.

But some boards provide false information, because of technical work being carried out now. Most of information about movements of buses is correct. However, some people don’t know how to use electronic boards installed in the bus stops.
