International Data Corporation (IDC) plans to open representative office in Azerbaijan

International Data Corporation (IDC) plans to open representative office in Azerbaijan, IDC Central Asia and Azerbaijan head Andrei Beklemishev told reporters on Thursday. He said the company opened its representative office in Kazakhstan in 2008, while its Moscow office opened in 1995.

"That is, the interval between opening of the Kazakh and Moscow offices has been long enough, as the company works with information, which can be obtained not necessarily in person, it is possible to hold a video conference. We have all the necessary technology to gather information that allows us to effectively carry out our work," Beklemishev said. He said the company expects business growth in Azerbaijan.

"A regional office will operate in Kazakhstan, which will be responsible for the five countries of Central Asia, plus Azerbaijan. The company expects business growth in Azerbaijan, that is, the greater the demand will be for information about Azerbaijani IT-market, the more we will have jobs.

And it will contribute to the opening of office in the country," Beklemishev said.
