Deputy Minister took part in celebration of “Day of Knowledge” in school at Goradil city of Shusha region
On October 15 the Deputy Minister of Communications and IT Iltimas Mammadov, MP Elman Mammadov, the Head of Executive Power of Shusha region Bayram Safarov, employees of educational institutions in Shusha region as well as representative of various associations and organizations of communication participated in “Day of Knowledge” activity dedicated to commencement of the new school year, which was held in No: 9 secondary school at Shusha region.
Addressing to the participators of the event, the School Director Hamid Abdullayev said that 14 children had gone to the first form of the school and 2 school-leavers had entered universities.
“Thanks to Heydar Aliyev Fond’s initiative the children, who became pupils of the first form of No: 9 school, like all other children of the country, who went to the school for the first time, have been presented with school bags and accessories”, he added.
“The Ministry of Communications and IT consecutively implement measures towards solving all the problems the schools have.
A new classroom has been built with the Ministry’s support, and 2 more classrooms will be built for the music school. On behalf of all IDPs I would like to express gratitude to the Head of the State for care and attention showed to us”, the director said.
The Deputy Minister Iltimas Mammadov congratulated all the first formers and their parents with beginning of the new school year and conveyed to the participators of the activity best wishes from the Minister Ali Abbasov.
The Deputy Minister, touching upon attention and care showed by the Head of the State to the refugees and IDPs, said that the Ministry will continue taking measures towards improving living conditions of the refugees and IDPs residing at the “Communications Worker” Holiday Center.
