Winners of table tennis tournament held within ‘Saglamlig-2016’ Spartakiada Games announced
The “Saglamlig-2016” Spartakiada Games for communication workers continue in Azerbaijan.
Note that Spartakiada Games are organized in the country in connection with the professional holiday of workers of the sphere of communications and high technologies. This year’s Games are dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the creation of telephone communications in the country.
The table tennis tournament held within the Spartakiada Games has come to an end.
During the first round of the tournament, a competition between Groups A and B, either of which included 8 teams consisting of 3 players each, was held.
The teams of Azerpost LLC and the Data Processing Centre from Group A and the teams of the State Administration of Radio Frequencies and Aztelekom LLC from the Group B entered the final round of the table tennis tournament.
In the course of the tense struggle among the competing teams, the team of the State Administration of Radio Frequencies was able to beat the team of Azerpost LLC by a score of 2 to 1.
So the team of the State Administration of Radio Frequencies became the winner of the table tennis tournament.
