Croatian guest visits High Tech Research Center
On October 24, 2016, the spouse of the President of the Republic of Croatia Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Yakov Kitarovic, visited the High Tech Research Center under the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC), Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizadeh informed the guest about the activities of the High Tech Research Center. Yakov Kitarovic viewed the equipment installed in Aerosol CVD, Clean Room Photometric Lab and the other rooms of the Centre.
It was noted that the equipment installed in the Centre, which has no analogues in the CIS and many European countries, is distinguished by its modernity.
This equipment is competitive in terms of the fulfillment of practical tasks in the field of nanotechnologies. The XXI century convergence technology is being implemented at the High Tech Research Center.
New generation laboratories, such as Photometric Lab, Biochemistry Nanotech Lab, A-CVD Carbon Nanotechnology Lab, Optical Spectroscopy Lab, Electron Microscopy Lab, were created at the Centre. The Croatian guest praised the conditions created at the Centre.
