Mode Modern based in Los Angeles has created a new smart pillow called the Sunrise which comes complete with its own companion application and allows you to wake naturally every morning.
 
The new smart pillow not only allows you to wake with light but also streams your favourite music, tracks your sleep and provides a next-generation alarm clock that is scientifically proven to wake you with more energy.
 
If your children have stopped being your early morning alarm clock or you need to wake invigorated then the new smart pillow may be worth more investigation.
