Toshiba’s latest Portégé X30 Ultrabook offers 18-hours of battery life


Toshiba today announced the availability of the Portégé X30 Ultraportable starting at $1,449. In addition to standard configurations, you can configure this device with up to Intel Core i7-7600U Processor, 13.3″ diagonal touchscreen, 16 GB DDR4 2133 MHz and 512 GB M.2 PCIe SSD. At 15.9mm thin and weighing a mere 2.3 pounds, it comes with an extremely compact form factor and it can offer up to 18 hours of battery life.
 
The Portégé X30 also comes with multiple security elements including proprietary BIOS, Face Authentication, Fingerprint Reader, Trusted Platform Module, BitLocker Drive Encryption, Device Guard, Credential Guard, Intel Authenticate, Smart Card Reader and Security Lock Slot solutions.
 
Since this device is targeted towards enterprise customers, it features a premium magnesium alloy Tough Body chassis with shock-absorbing measures and Toshiba’s patented honeycomb reinforcement technology for increased durability. It has passed the Mil-SPEC-810G standard for extreme temperature, vibration, shock, humidity, drop and dust. On the connectivity front, it comes with 2 USB Type-C ports, USB 3.0 port, an HDMI, and a microSD Card Slot as well as a headphone/mic combo port.
