The communications and telecommunications sphere has developed significantly in Azerbaijan. This is also a vivid evidence of the dynamic development of the country’s economy.
According to AZERTAC, these thoughts were expressed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi during his interview with media representatives at the "Bakutel -2017" exhibition.
The minister said that a number of companies from the Islamic Republic of Iran are demonstrating their products and services related to the telecommunications sphere at the "Bakutel-2017" Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition.
"These companies are well-known in Iran and in the region. The exhibition also offers our companies the opportunity to find new markets. We hope that we will be able to establish cooperation with other companies here.
There are extensive relations between Iran and Azerbaijan in the communications field, and new cooperation has been started in the field of postal services. A cooperation agreement was signed between the postal services of the two countries.
Apart from that, railroad transportation will also serve to expand the ties between our countries," the minister said.
