Representative of U.S. Overseas Private Investment Corporation holds info-session at High-Tech Park
An info-session was held on June 25 at the High-Tech Park under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies with the participation of Tara Blake, Director of International Project Finance at OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation).
The topic of the event was “Possibilities of financing projects in Azerbaijan by OPIC”.
The info-session was attended by representatives of a number of companies, potential investors, businessmen and startupers.
During the info-session, a detailed presentation on “OPIC’s mechanisms for funding projects in Azerbaijan” was made and the prospects for joint cooperation were discussed.
Director of the High-Tech Park, Tural Kerimli, spoke in detail about the activities of the park, the created ecosystem, and the opportunities offered to startupers and investors.
Then, Philip Gutrie, Commercial Officer of the US Embassy in Azerbaijan made a presentation.
Tara Blair made a presentation on opportunities for financing projects in Azerbaijan and stressed readiness for joint cooperation.
After that, discussions were held around the presentation.
