Usage share of Chrome browser exceeds 65 percent


The usage share of Chrome browser, which has turned 10 years old, for the first time exceeded 65%, according to NetMarketShare, which studies the activity of more than 160 million unique users viewing over 40,000 websites around the world.
 
In August 2018, Chrome was used by 65.2% of desktop and laptop computer users to access the Internet, up from 64.7% a year earlier.
 
The usage share of Internet Explorer, which ranked second in the list of the world's most popular browsers, fell below 11%.
 
Firefox comes third in the list (almost 10%). It is followed by Microsoft Edge (4.3%), according to Dailycomm.ru.
