Samsung may soon launch three Galaxy M smartphones in India

Korean smartphone maker Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch the new Galaxy M series in India. As per an IANS report, the global debut of the Galaxy M series will take place in India with the launch of three smartphones in January.

The report says that the Galaxy M series is expected to be aimed at the budget and mid-range segment. At the moment it is not known if the Galaxy M series is an additional series or if it will replace the existing Galaxy A and Galaxy J series. Sources close to the matter revealed that the Galaxy M series is aimed at developing markets such as India and will include a few industry-first features.

Earlier, three Galaxy M devices were spotted on various certification sites, revealing their names and some specifications. And if that information is anything to go by, January should see the announcement of the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30.

The Galaxy M10 is expected to be a budget device and it may be powered by the Exynos 7870 SoC. On the other hand, the Galaxy M20 and M30 are expected to be mid-range devices and were spotted with the Exynos 7885 SoC. As per a Geekbench listing, the Galaxy M30 is expected to feature an Infinity-U display, 4GB RAM, up to 128GB internal storage and a 5,000mAh battery.
