Emergency operations center established under Minister
Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade held a meeting with the heads of subordinate bodies of the Ministry due to the forecast of bad weather conditions for January 16-18. An emergency operations center was established under the leadership of the Minister.
Heads of enterprises were given instructions to provide the population with transport, communication, postal services, including mobile communication and TV and radio broadcasting services at the appropriate level.
Instructions were also given on the implementation of appropriate measures to ensure the security and fire safety of transport and communication facilities, as well as the safety of staff members working outdoors.
Emergency response teams have been brought to readiness. In addition, a duty unit has been organized.
