Russian scientists have developed a new method to extend the service life of smartphones by protecting them from overheating

Scientists from the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" have invented a new method for measuring the thermal conductivity of electronic devices, including modern smartphones. The results of scientific work will allow specialists to create materials that are resistant to overheating, which will extend the service life of electronics. This information was provided to TASS by the Press Service of the Research Center “Kurchatov Institute” on Tuesday.

The scientists of the Research Center improved the system for measuring the thermal conductivity of thin films used in electronics to remove excess heat. The development will help specialists create films with higher thermal conductivity and thereby prolong the service life of electronics, including smartphones," the Press Service of the National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute” reported.
