AzInTelecom’s third data center awarded TIER III certification
AzInTelecom LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, which has the first TIER III data center in Azerbaijan, is expanding its capabilities.
Given the growing number of cloud services Azcloud, the construction of the new data center in the administrative building of AzInTelecom in Baku is nearing completion with a view to enhancing the technical capabilities of the existing data center. The new center has recently received a TIER III Design certificate of conformity issued by the Uptime Institute for sustainability.
Compliance with the TIER III standard provides for backup of the entire infrastructure. This in turn is 99.982% of the quality of service, which allows you to work continuously even there is a technical malfunction, and also means no more than 1.6 hours of possible total downtime during the year. In addition, by optimization of energy use, energy source management and power distribution equipment, it was possible to build a completely eco-friendly data center.
At the same time, AzInTelecom has a certificate of compliance with the ISO 20000 standard, which demonstrates excellence and is a practical indicator of the implementation of the most effective methods in the field of IT management, and the ISO 27001 standard – a clear example of compliance with international standards for information security management system.
It should be noted that the new data center built on the territory of the administrative building of AzInTelecom LLC in Baku is its third data center built according to TIER III standards. The data center in Yevlakh city, the construction of which commenced in 2019, was awarded the TIER III Design certificate, and the data center located in Baku in 2015 received the TIER III Facility certificate.
