Today, Huawei introduced the upcoming Huawei Smart Screen V55i. It turns out this new product will be sold on April 26. The 4GB + 32GB version is priced at 3799 yuan ($537).
As for the biggest highlights, the Huawei Smart Screen V55i uses an AI smart eye and automatic lifting camera. As the company has adopted the concept that its new-gen TVs will change the way we interact with the smart home appliances, the TV will become the core product in this system. Thus, the camera on the TV should provide a clear capturing experience. In this sense, our protagonist has no reason to worry about a thing because it supports 1080P HD video calls. There is a built-in NPU and it supports WeLink multi-party video calls.
Also, the Huawei Smart Screen V55i supports smartphone dual-projection screen function. This means one screen can display two smartphone screens. You can even choose between the smart screen sound and the smartphone sound. At last, it supports two-player gaming.
However, the display is the main feature we worry about when buying a new TV. So we should learn about the key parameters of its screen. In terms of panel parameters, the Huawei Smart Screen V55i supports 120% BT.709 wide color gamut. The 55-inch display has a 3840 × 2160 resolution, which also supports HDR, 90% DCI-P3 color gamut, and MEMC motion compensation. It comes with a self-developed Honghu 818 chip. The latter uses a dual-core A73 + dual-core A53 architecture. There is also a quad-core G51 GPU.
In terms of appearance, the Huawei Smart Screen V55i adopts a three-sided frameless design, with a screen ratio of 96.2% and a thickness of 6.9mm.
