Common electronic database on disabled persons was established
The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has established a common electronic database (CDB) to insure integration of disabled persons into society.
The Ministry said that the problems of disabled persons need a complex approach, ensuring consistent implementation of rehabilitation measures in accordance with an individual rehabilitation plan.
The first practical measure implemented by CDB’s Work Group in this direction was filling-in of questionnaires with detailed information on all disabled persons of all categories across the country with further conversion of all accumulated data into electronic format. It is worth noting that the regional Social Security centers and Social-Medical Expert Commissions took active part in these activities.
