1,200 post offices of “Azerpocht” LLC will connect to the central server within “Financial Services Development” Project. The head of the Mail Division of the Ministry of Communications and IT Novruz Mammadov said that according to preliminary investigations, it was technically possible to connect 1,132 post offices to the central server. 695 post offices out of them have already been connected to the central server of “Azerpocht” LLC through “Azdatacom”. Now 535 post offices are using “Azdatacom” network. 125 post offices in Baku and 409 post offices in different regions are using the network. It should be noted that the Universal Postal Union gave high assessment to the successful implementation of “Financial Services Development” Project and offered its help to other countries in building the network.
