He said that presently Gulgezi village uses phone services (18 numbers) from the ATS in Kolair village, and Mehdili village uses satellite communication services. The new ATSs will allow to provide all houses in the villages with telephone services.
Apart from telephone services, the residents of these two villages will be able to use high speed broadband internet and multimedia services. Let’s note that the Barda Telecommunication Hub has 36 ATSs that render services to 190 villages.
New ATSs to be built in Barda
The ‘Aztelecom’ Production Unit continues to implement activities in order to cover rural residents’ need for telephone services. According to information provided to ICTnews by the director of the Barda Telecommunication Hub Nazim Shirinov, Aztelecom plans to build new ATSs with 128 and 256 numbering capacities in Gulgezi and Mehdili villages respectively.He said that presently Gulgezi village uses phone services (18 numbers) from the ATS in Kolair village, and Mehdili village uses satellite communication services.
