According to the statement of the Minister of Communications and IT Ali Abbasov, preliminary estimates show that the cost of the program is $342 million, and it will be funded by 40% due to reinvestment. High profitability of the program enables to predict such a level of reinvestment.
According to the minister, in Turkey Fiber to Home will be implemented by 2018, and the cost of the program is estimated at $35 billion.
“Fiber to Home will allow transfer to a new scheme of provision of information services - combined services of IP-telephony, IP-TV and radio," he said.
State Program “Fiber to Home” to be fully realized by late 2015
