The activities are being implemented according to the Action Plan of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan in line with the “Program on the application and development of DVB-T digital TV broadcasting system in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
This information was provided to ICTnews by the “Teleradio” Production Unit. As a result of these measures, on 20 July of this year, a 300 watt DVB-T transmitter was installed at the 29th channel of Almali Radio and TV station located in Gakh region, and a 600 watt DVB-T transmitter was installed at the 60th TV channel of Shaki Radio and TV station. Both transmitters were produced by the “Vigintos Elektronika” company.
Besides that, on 21 July of this year, a 300 watt DVB-T transmitter was installed at the 58th channel of Radio and TV station located in Tovuz region, and a 300 watt DVB-T transmitter was installed at the 52nd channel of Radio and TV station located in Khachmaz region. These transmitters were also produced by the “Vigintos Elektronika” company.
Application of DVB-T digital TV broadcasting expanded in regions of Azerbaijan
The “Teleradio” Production Unit is continuing to take measures towards expanding the application of digital TV broadcasting in Azerbaijan.The activities are being implemented according to the Action Plan of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan in line with the “Program on the application and development of DVB-T digital TV broadcasting system in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
