12 channels switched to digital broadcast format
The full transition to the digital TV format is expected to take place in late 2012 in Azerbaijan. This information was provided to ICTnews by the technical director of the “Teleradio” Production Unit Mikail Abbasov. According to him, additional equipment is now being installed by Teleradio in order to optimize the digital TV broadcasting. “12 channels have already been switched to digital broadcast format.Teleradio will continue to hold its activities in this direction on stage-by-stage bases.
