Work is currently underway in Azerbaijan to expand the network coverage of DVB-T digital television and FM radio. According to information provided to the “ICTnews” online news service by Teleradio Production Unit, modern 600W digital DVB-T television transmitters have been installed and put into operation at Sudur Radio and Television Broadcasting Station (RTBS), in Gusar region, Yerguch RTBS in Khachmaz region and Kiran RTBS in Tovuz region. Additionally, a new 2kW FM transmitter, operating within 89.3 MHz frequency, has been installed and put into operation at Lerik RTBS in Lerik region.
