The work includes creation of the authentication and mobile electronic signature systems, which make it possible to use mobile devices for applying e-signatures. The Data-Computing Centre of MCIT has held a presentation in connection with the preparation of the modern, high-speed and high-security authentication system for the e-Government portal.
This system allows users to download special software into their smart-phones or tablet computers from the Internet, by using a two-factor authentication scheme, and then, after scanning QR code, to enter the e-Government portal.
The system is being implemented as an important part of MCIT’s strategy. It is aimed at insuring transparency, efficiency and safety of services the e-Government portal renders to citizens. The system represents one of the innovative mobile authentication methods currently used in the world. In future, the system will allow users to apply e-signatures to documents, by using mobile devices, and to send electronically signed documents to relevant state agencies.
MCIT continues its work on adopting technological innovations in the ICT sphere and presenting them to the public’s disposal.
