Under the contract, the broadcast of "2TV" public channel via "Azerspace-1" satellite started in January 2016 at 11095/H/27500 frequency.
It should be noted that "2TV "channel, which was founded in 1991 and is currently being followed by 55% of Georgia’s population, broadcasts mainly socio-political and documentary programs in the Georgian language.

The only satellite operator in the South Caucasus, Azercosmos OJSC, signed a contract on commercial broadcasting of "2TV" public channel of the "Georgian Public Broadcasting" (GPB) company, which carries out broadcasting of the public TV and radio channels of the Republic of Georgia.Under the contract, the broadcast of "2TV" public channel via "Azerspace-1" satellite started in January 2016 at 11095/H/27500 frequency.
