According to Velizadeh, the main work is to clearly define the terminology, which will explain what the "E-government" is.
"First of all, the main provisions relating to "e-government" will be defined. It will is clearly be stated what e-service is, as well as the legal and organizational aspects will be addressed," he said.
The bill on "e-government" will be based on advanced international practices, said Velizadeh.
Currently a small number of countries (around seven) have adopted laws on "e-government". One of these countries is Austria, whose experience Azerbaijan is studying.

Azerbaijan examines advanced practices to draft a law on "e-government", Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Elmir Velizadeh said on Tuesday.According to Velizadeh, the main work is to clearly define the terminology, which will explain what the "E-government" is.
