Winners of contest and competitions dedicated to 135th anniversary of telephone communication in Azerbaijan awarded

The awarding ceremony of the winners of the contest and  competitions  held in connection with the professional holiday of workers of communications and information technologies - the 135th anniversary of telephone communication in Azerbaijan took place today in the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies.
 
Delivering opening speech at the event, Minister of Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade said  the awarding honorary titles to a group of workers of communication and information technologies for their efficient work in connection with their professional day - the 135th anniversary of telephone communication in Azerbaijan by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan is the indicator of the  attention  and care of the head of state to this field. The Minister congratulated the awardees, winners  of  the contest and competitions and wished them success in their work.
 
At the awarding ceremony a group  of communication  workers who awarded honorary state award   by  the decree of the  President of the Republic of Azerbaijan were awarded.
 
Note that a group of communication workers were awarded  by the decree of the head of state in the anniversary event  dedicated  to the professional day of workers of  information  and communication technologies and 135th anniversary of the establishment of telephone communication in Azerbaijan, which was  held in Ganja city.
 
Thus, Yagub Mirzayev, an employee of AzEvroTel LLC of  Baku Telephone Communications Production Association, who was  awarded the honorary title the “Honored Engineer” by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chief of CDMA service department of Baku  Telephone Communication Production Association  Murad Jabrayilov, head of Quality Control department  of Azerpost LLC Novruz Galayev were presented with  certificates.
 
Samad Abiyev, head of Masalli Telecommunication Center, leading engineer of Lenkaran telecommunications center Murad Huseynov, technical director  of Baku Telephone Communication Production Association Razi Tagiyev, head of Postal Operations department  of Azerpost LLC  Ali Musayev, deputy chief of Post Branch  No.2 Arif Magsudov, chief of Shaki Radio and Television Broadcasting Station Pasha Yusubov, head of  Antenna-Feeder Systems Labaratory Shakir Amirov were awarded  medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan “ Tereggi” (Progress).
 
Then,  the winners of  the Republican Sports Games   “Saghlamlig – 2016”  which was held   on 24 September - 01 November  in Baku were awarded. Teams  which took the first, second and third places  were  awarded  honorary diplomas and the cup, members of the team, as well as  those who took the first three places  in individual competitions  were awarded  honorary diplomas  and cash prizes. Note that roughly 1,200 athletes participated in the competitions , which were held on 9 kinds of sport. As a result of the competition, team  “Aztelecom” LLC  became the winner of the first place. State Administration of Radio Frequencies  took  second place,  the third place went to Baku Telephone Communications Production Association.
 
Besides that, during the event  the winners of  the contest “ Best Book on ICT”, “Best Research Paper on ICT”  were also awarded.
 
Narmin Rzayeva, the employee of  the Institute of Management Systems of the  National Academy of Sciences  was the winner of the first place on  nomination “Best Research Paper on ICT”, the winners of the second place became  corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan,  an employee of Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy Aghasi Malikov, and doctor of technical sciences of Baku State University, prof. Alakbar Aliyev. Third place went to Tofig  Mansurov, doctor of technical sciences  of Azerbaijan Technical University, and  doctor of technical sciences of Azerbaijan Technical University, prof. Bayram Ibrahimov.
 
The winner  of the first place on nomination of “Best Book on ICT”  Namig Aliyev, who is PhD in technical sciences, assistant professor at Azerbaijan  Architecture and Construction University, and an employee of the Caucasus University Etibar Seyidzade, winner of the  second place, as well as an employee of ATL Group Jamal Shahverdiyev,  winner of the  third place  were awarded.
 

The winners of the essay competition  on the theme “ 135-year history of the development of communication in Azerbaijan – transition to  the information society”  held  among  representatives of the mass media were  also awarded on the sidelines of the event.

On  nomination “Interesting  Author Writing” an  employee  of  AzerTAc  news agency  Elvira Mammadova,  an employee of  “ Ictimai  TV”  Shohrat  Eyvazov,  an employee of  newspaper  “Mövge”  Zulfiya Guliyeva , an employee of the Information Agency www.modern.az  Namida Bingol, an employee of  “Azadinform”  news agency Leyla Mammadova  were awarded  diplomas and cash prizes.

Winner of the  first place  in the essay contest became Isgandar Hasanov,  an employee of  the “525th newspaper ”,  the winner of the  second place became an employee of  Trend News Agency Huseyn Veliyev, and  winners of the third place became  an employee of  the  newspaper “Caspi” Aygun Asimgizi and an employee of the internet website www.azvision.az  Ilkin Najafzade. The winners were awarded diplomas  and cash prizes.
