10 teams competed in the event, which was organized by Barama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center with the financial support of Azercell and Pasha Bank.
The team that participated in the competition under the name of “The Dev Squad” was able to complete the task within the given time-frame. This team developed a mobile application called “Baku Shopping Guide” in 36 hours.
This mobile application shows the addresses of shops and the routes leading to them, and thus enables the user to easily locate the required shop.
Additionally, the mobile application displays a map showing all shops that are running a discount campaign.
The “Discount Rate Selection” option simplifies the use of the mobile application.
Note that the members of “The Dev Squad” team are programmers of the local innovative projects like the E-government portal.
Earlier, the same team developed the mobile application called “Mail Addresses”, which displays routes leading to post offices, and thus enables the user to easily find the required post office.
