Minister awards a group of employees for effective protection of communication facilities

Twenty years have passed since the establishment of Militarized Security Department Limited Liability Company (MSD LLC), which is part of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies’ structure. Militarized Security Department was established in September 1997 with the aim of strengthening the protection of communication facilities.
 
MSD ensures the security and fire safety of MTCHT’s subordinate entities and other communication and non-communication facilities.
 
Today, 845 officers of MSD LLC ensure the safety and security of 211 communication and non-communication facilities, of which 81 are located in Baku and 130 - in the other cities and regions of the republic.    
 
The young officers of MSD LLC have successfully participated and gained victories in national, European and world championships.
 
Thus, the former MSD officer Asif Sayadov took first place in the World Kung-Fu Taolu & Kun-Fu Sanda Championship, Ramil Mammadov won the gold medal at the Kung-Fu Sanda World Cup, Ehram Majidov took first places at the World and European Boxing Championships, Rovshan Guliyev won the gold medal at the National Freestyle Wrestling Championship and the bronze medal at the Olympic Games held among war veterans.
 
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Militarized Security Department, a group of MSD officers were promoted to higher ranks and awarded certificates of honor for their fruitful activity by the order of Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade.
