Discussions were held on participation of local startupers in acceleration programs in the United States

The newly appointed executive director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AMCham), Natig Bakhishov, visited the High-Tech Park (HTP) of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT).

While Natig Bakhishov was familiarizing himself with the activities of the HTP’s Business Incubation Center, the director of the HTP, Tural Karimli, told the guest about the favorable investment environment created in our country, adding that “the residents of the park are offered advantageous benefits”.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the attraction of investors to startup projects and provision of assistance to local startupers for their participation in acceleration programs in the United States.

In addition, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint projects and startup exchange programs.

Recall that a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on May 10, 2018 between the High-Tech Park of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan.

Under the Memorandum, a roadmap for long-term and strategic cooperation between the two agencies will be drawn up.
