“E-government” will be formed in 2 months
Works on formation of “electronic government” are still continuing in our country. According to information given by the Deputy Minister of Communication and IT Elmir Valizade, the works on creating “e-government” are being carried out under the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev’s decree.
Employment of “Electronic signature” has already started within this decree. The infrastructure for exchanging data between state bodies was also created. At the same time, “E-government” portal was created in order to render electronic services to business structures and citizens.
At the present time, the process of accumulating “e-services” in the portal is continuing with public bodies being connected to it. 10 public agencies already take part in this project, and 2 public agencies connected to it for using electronic services.
Many public agencies have applied for connecting to “E-government” portal. All central executive bodies will be connected to the portal in near future. Process of formation of “E-government” portal will be completed in 2 months.
