Digital television broadcasting has been launched in northern districts of Azerbaijan.It was announced by the Communications and Information Technology Ministry of Azerbaijan. Digital television broadcasting here became possible after a new television station was put into operation in Guba.
Digital broadcasting already covers Baku, Absheron peninsula, Ganja, Shirvan, Jalilabad, Astara and Lerik districts of Azerbaijan at the moment.
