According to him, the TV stations, located in Dashkesan and Gedabey regions and Gargar village carry out digital broadcasting over armenian regions bordering with Azerbaijan as well.
Mr. Abbasov also said that in the near future, after solving some technical issues, digital broadcasting will cover the whole territory of the republic.
Let’s note that the switch from analog to digital broadcasting took place in 2009. However test works in this direction started in Baku as far back as 2004.
Broadcasting of digital television over Dashkesan and Gedabey regions started
“Two more regions in the south of our country have come within the coverage of the digital television. Now, 10 TV channels are digitally broadcasted over Dashkesan and Gedabey regions”, told “ictnews.az” technical director of “Teleradio” PA Mikayil Abbasov.According to him, the TV stations, located in Dashkesan and Gedabey regions and Gargar village carry out digital broadcasting over armenian regions bordering with Azerbaijan as well.
