“Aztelekom” Production Association expands the introduction of new technologies in order to rise quality of the communication services rendered to the residents of Apsheron.
In connection with this, the Apsheron Telecommunication Hub started the execution of the Activity Plan to increase quality of the communication services.
Director of the Apsheron Telecommunication Hub, Eyub Ismailov, told that they are expanding the introduction of “ONU” (Optic Network Union) type stations, which insure high quality of the communication and internet services.
According to Mr. Ismailov, several “ONU” type stations will be built and put into operation: one in Khochasan settlement with the capacity of 768 numbers, two in Guschulug residential area at S.Bahlulzade and H.Zardabi streets each having the capacity of 768 numbers, one in Mekhkalaon residential area with capacity of 512 numbers. Also, EATSs will be built and put into operation in Yeni Saray and Cheyranbatan residential areas.
These “ONU” stations, which are based on the NGN technology, offer 62 types of services.
The stated equipment offers wide opportunities for the residents to use, along with the telephone communication, the high quality multimedia services.
It is worth mentioning, that this equipment, which proved its technological efficiency in the world practice, reduces the distance between the station and subscriber and insures high quality of the internet and telephone services.
