Stronger measures are taken against persons trying to illegally use communication services

Aztelekom Production Unit has fully reconstructed its network and expanded the coverage of its network. Aztelecom’s effective technical policy included, along with traditional wire telephone communication, building of CDMA, Satellite Communication and other networks, and resulted in the provision of all resitentila areas of the country with the telephone communication.

By introducing modern technologies, especially EATSs and transmission equipment, in its  network, Aztelecom created excellent conditions for the practice of renting internet services, channels and ports to the citizens. Investigations indicate the importance of correct application of prices for services.

Incorrect application of tariffs and prices inflict material damage to telecommunication hubs and causes confusion in calculation of tariff profits.

There are some persons who try to use communication services by circumventing the existing rules and regulations. Illegal activities practiced by such persons include using rented channels without observing conditions of the contract, installing mini-ATSs and concealing the exact number of connected telephones from the telecommunication hub, using home phones in commercial structures.

Aztelecom PU created a special task force within the International Telephone Communication Department in order to prevent such illegal activities. T

he task force maintains constant control of the rented channels to make sure that they are used according to conditions of the contract.  It conducts spot inspections on the regular bases, and after confronting with the above-mentioned cases it draws up a statements according to which prices are reviewed and unpaid additional sum  is paid to the telecommunication hub.
