Now telephone calls can be paid by plastic cards in regions

Aztelekom Production Unit has started realization of a new project. Now, subscribers can make payments for telephone conversations by using ATMs and plastic cards.  Previously, a user could pay for phone conversations only in the territory of their district. Now they can do it everywhere.  

At present, Aztelekom is implementing this project in Baku, Ganja, Sumgait, Shirvan cities and Apsheron, Sheki, Geychay, Guba, Lenkaran regions.   Let’s note  that in order to introduce this service the specialists from Aztelekom PU, Kapital Bank, Data-Processing Centre, Azərikart LLC held joint discussions.  

Subscribers can use plastic cards of the International Bank and Kapital Bank for making payments for telephone calls.  In Baku plastic cards have been used since January 2006, and this practice has been successfully implemented until now.  

The main advantage of this system is that subscribers can make payments for long distance and international telephone calls using Kapital Bank’s ATMs and plastic cards. In this case subscribers don’t need to visit Subscriber Service Centers.   
The system has the following advantages:

1. Payments are made in non-cash order
2. Subscribers save their time
3. It is much easier to pay through ATMs than through Subscriber Service Centers   

At present Aztelekom is taking certain measures for  accelerating  the introduction of this  service and attracting subscribers to this service.
