According to him, fiber-optic cable lines have been laid to Baku TV-tower, ‘İctimai’ TV channel’s office and Ganja TV-station in order to insure high quality of transmitting of the song contest from ‘Baku Kristal Arena’ (the place where ‘Eurovision 2012’ will be organized) to Europe.
HD (High Definination) broadcasting of ‘Eurovision 2012’ song contest will be carried out in both Baku-Frankfort and Frankfort-Baku directions through Trans-Asia-Europe (TAE) international fiber-optic cable line. Besides that, the recent modernization of the Azerbaijani Telecommunication Network will insure high quality of broadcasting of this song contest in the republic.
‘Eurovision’ song contest to be broadcasted to Europe in digital format
‘Teleradio’ Production Unit of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan is implementing an ‘Activity Plan’ to insure high quality of TV broadcasting of ‘Eurovision 2012’ song contest, which will be held in Azerbaijan in 2012’, technical director of ‘Teleradio’ PU, Mikail Abbasov told ‘ICTnews’.According to him, fiber-optic cable lines have been laid to Baku TV-tower, ‘İctimai’ TV channel’s office and Ganja TV-station in order to insure high quality of transmitting of the song contest from ‘Baku Kristal Arena’ (the place where ‘Eurovision 2012’ will be organized) to Europe.
