A new promotional video in connection with the candidacy of Baku to host the Olympics in 2020 was presented on Thursday, the Youth and Sport Ministry reported.
Seven-minute promotional video posted on the website of "Baku-2020" (www.baku2020.com), illustrates the four sectors of the future Olympic infrastructure, reflected in the Book of applications. The video also reflected the grandiose buildings and areas that will be used if the Olympic Games in 2020 are held in Baku.
The video, shot by Hollywood director Rupert Wainwright, presents construction works in Baku and image of Baku in 2020 created in the computer graphics.
Executive Director of the National Organizing Committee of "Olympic Games 2020 in Baku," Kenul Nurullayeva appreciated the commercial.
She said, the fact that Baku nominated its candidacy to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020, is part of a long-term development strategy of Azerbaijan.
She also expressed hope that the new commercial will give a stimulus for arrival in Baku for those who hasn't not yet seen the beauty of the capital of Azerbaijan.
