The document supporting internet-media in Azerbaijan is being prepared. The chairman of Media Council Aflatun Amashov during his interview with journalists said that now the document was being considered in Media Council. “As soon as the Project is ready it will be presented to the relevant bodies. In Russia and other countries internet-media also receives support from the government. A conference dedicated to problems in internet – media is supposed to be held in September in Baku. There are about 2,000 blog-pages in Azerbaijan at the moment”, he said.
