The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has completed work on integration of FIFA e-commerce system for the organization of online-ticket sales for football games, AFFA reported.
The FIFA system of e-commerce is a global one and used in many countries.
The system will be presented formally on March 19. Online ticket sales will be available on the AFFA's corporate website.
Customers will be able to pay for the purchase of tickets, using primarily electronic banking cards of VISA International, as this payment system is the principal sponsor of FIFA, and after 15 days payment of purchases will be done through MasterCard.
Advantage of the new system is an opportunity to buy individual tickets. Buyers will be able to choose seat at stands at their own discretion by viewing angle of visibility from all sectors of the stadium's stands.
